Here are some things you need to know about our regional event.
Startups are everywhere, and we’re learning to better connect with them.
As we mentioned above, there are many opportunities to meet and network with startups in every corner of the globe. While there are still a few months before our annual event, we’re seeing an increase in the number of global connections. The most obvious example is with the 50+ startups that have signed up to our accelerators program. As of right now, there are 31 different accelerators to choose from!
Startup Weekend Denver brings together many different types of startups, giving everyone a chance to show off their work and collaborate in one place.

The event is easy to find – host your own event at any of the traditional venues or we have a ton of options for you!
Launching a startup doesn’t require a ton of money, experience, or connections. In fact, it can take many, many hours before you even crack the code to profitability. That is, until you host your first event at the start of your journey.
With startup events like Startup Weekend Denver, you are almost guaranteed to meet people and build friendships who will play an important role in your success. You can easily walk into a room full of like-minded individuals and just start talking.
You get speakers from a variety of industries – from media, to education, to product development, there’s something for everyone.
You know you’re in good company when the likes and dislikes of your competitors are not reported, but completely ignored. You have a great chance to learn from your peers, who are often learning from you, as well.
There are team building opportunities for everyone – whether you want to build a personal relationship with your startup or take on an entire team, there’s something for everyone at Startup Weekend Denver.
If you want to build a personal relationship with your startup, there are many opportunities for you to share in-person and online, including dinner conversations, meet and greets, and Slackrooms. In fact, if you’re on the wrong end of the industry spectrum, you can even build a startup office in your spare time!
Showcasing local talent is always included – so don’t forget about the local talent at Startup Weekend Denver!
Your startup should have a presence in at least one city in the next three years. As such, you need to pick and choose which cities you’d like to showcase your product or service in. We offer three cities for the month of May – New York, San Francisco, and Chicago.
If you want to showcase your product or brand in a specific city, you can always include that in the Choose Your City section of the website.
You have private parties all day long – guaranteed!
Your private parties need to be special. They need to be big, important, and last for the entire weekend. Your private parties can be dinner functions, movie nights, happy hours, or even office hours!
Your judges are based in your city – no matter where you live!
