The island is located in the Andaman Sea in Krabi Province, however it can be reached from both Krabi and Phuket. There are many things that can be done at Phi Phi island no matter how long you will be visiting it.     As mentioned earlier, Phi Phi island is Located in Krabi Province. You can reach Phi Phi island from Krabi by Taking one of the boats operating daily (either speed boat or Ferry Boats). You can also do the same if you are located in Phuket. It takes around 1 and half hours to reach Phi Phi from Krabi if you are taking the ferry Boat. If you are departing from Phuket, that will take about 45 minutes. The main Pier in Phuket where the Boats Depart to Phi phi is Rassada Pier located in the southeast Part of Phuket near Phuket town.

    During the raining season in Thailand, the Boats Schedule might be affected and some boat trips can be canceled for safety reasons. The rainy season in Thailand is between August and September (Also Called as the Monsoon Season).

    What to do in Phi Phi island

    When you go for a Phi Phi island Tour, there are many things that can be done and explored during the trip. First of all, you will be able to enjoy swimming in the crystal clear waters and white sandy beaches at Phi Phi Don (The Main Island in Phi Phi), you will also be able to do the same at the Famous Maya Bay.
